The heART of Healing
with Michelle Bosco
In this 6 part workshop series, we will immerse ourselves in the practice of art as a therapeutic tool for healing and explore how to use the creative process to cultivate a deeper understanding of self. We will utilize guided imagery and art-making to express ourselves in a safe and compassionate space. If you don't consider yourself an artist, great! No art experience is required to participate in this course. All are welcome here.

-
RESPECT
Please arrive on time and make sure to have any devices on “do not disturb” for the duration of our session.
-
CONFIDENTIALITY
Please find a space where we can respect the confidentiality of our group members. Choose a quiet place without other people around. The classes will not be recorded.
-
SAFETY
Please note that this is an art-based support group, and although this group can be therapeutic, it is not intended to be a therapy group. If you are needing the support of a licensed therapist, we are happy to make recommendations.
-
MATERIALS
You can choose what art materials you'd like. We recommend having a variety of options in your workspace, including: paper, pencils, markers, pastels, watercolors, mixed media (collage), etc. Bring what you have available, even if all you have is pen & paper! This will allow you the freedom to access what feels right when the creative process begins.
